Reflections of Christ

For those of you who don't know I work at Tantrum hair salon and was lucky enough to play just a teeny tiny part in the Reflections of Christ project by Mark Mabry. I was able to do the hair of a couple of the angels. If you haven't heard of the Reflections of Christ exibit, it is 26 pictures of Christ throughout his life. Important moments from his birth to his death. You can go view a making of video and all 26 photos at the Mesa temple's visitor center. All the photos were done by Mark Mabry. It is absolutely gorgeous. It was done brilliantly and Mark does an amazing job of capturing the spirit. Everyone and anyone should see it. You can view videos, pictures and comments at http://www.reflectionsofchrist.org/. These are just a few of the 26 images on display.

Okay, so there is this really awesome musical called the price of freedom. There is a special performance this Friday (tomorrow) at Mountain View Highschool. Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 on line. If you don't go see it I highly suggest you buy the CD. It's awesome. It takes place during WWII and is based on true stories from old letters that were found. Go see it.

Acatually Delicious

Okay, for those of you who don't know, I am like 80% lactose intolerant. The only dairy products I can eat are cheese, cool whip, and occasionally and less than a 1/4 cup of skim milk. Which leaves all other dairy products off limits to me. Unless I want to be puking about 15 after eI ating it. This is a recent thing so, I find myself missing yogurt mostly and occasionally icecream. Well, on my latest trip to sprouts I decided to try the brand SO DELICIOUS just on a whim. I've tried other soy products and not been impressed but the yougurt said it had 6 live cultures, so I decided to try it. I absolutely love it. I've gone back about 3 times in the last 3 days to get more yogurt and the third time I looked to see if they made icecream too. As you can see, they do. It was super yummy too. I am so excited. I can eat the whole thing of yogurt and not feel the least bit sick. It's got real fruit in it and is just so good. So is the icecream. I bought the neopolotin and the chocolate bannana. It is soooo good. I would also like to add that if your on a diet these are also fabulous. The icecream is only 300 calories and 6 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber for a whole cup, which if you're on weight watchers is only 3 points. It's all narual too, so, your not eating anything hydrogenated or unatral sugars, or anything like that. It's awesome. I'm so glad I found it. Try it!

Family home evening

So, this last family home evening we decided to do family pictures. The last family pictures were at my wedding and are missing my brother in law, Kevin. These are some of the results of the new family pictures. Just the girls

Me and my cute hubby.

This one I actually like. A good one in front of the tree.

Me and my husband again.

My cute cute, parent in laws.

This is us getting ready to jump

And this is us successfully jumping. It was actually really really fun.

Another family one. We're so cute right?

I can not tell you how much I appreciate my in laws. They are absolutely wonderful. I get along with them so well. I love them so much. They totally welcomed me right into the family. They're are a whole lot smaller than my family which is great some time. My mother in law and father in law are just like a second set of parents to me. It's never awkward. I know they love me and I just hope they know how much I love and appreciate them!

Funny super smart Husband

I thought it was time to give a shout out to my husband. I love my husband. He is Funny, super smart, Couragous, loving, carring, sooo cute and a big nerd. He hates when I call him a nerd but that's what he is and it's one of the things I love most about him. He totally compensates for my technologically stupid brain. He goes to the W.P. Carrey school of business at ASU right now on a full ride scholarship for a marketing degree. He works as a teller at Bank of America to provide my medically challenged body with medical insurance and he also work for Dell and Microsoft doing what he loves.
This is us at a Goo Goo Dolls concert and Lifehouse concert. We are both avid music lovers. Bryce plays the guitar and I like to sing. Going to concerts is one of our favorite things. This is Bryce with the Shaguar. That's right. The car from the Austin Power movies. It is owned by his Microsoft boss. Microsoft pretty much stalked him. He turned them down a couple times because I didn't want hime to take another job. Then they flew him to Califonia and spoiled him rotten and offered him a project basis job so I let him take it.

This is what Bryce looks like when I ask him to do the dishes. One of the reasons I fell in love with Bryce is because he came over once when we were dating and I was making sweet potatos for Thanksgiving and he stayed in the kitchen the whole time doing the dishes. My husband hates doing dishes but if I'm in there with him he'll do them in a heart beat.

One year anniversary

Our anniversary was actually march 2 but......

This is what I looked like when Bryce met me. That's Heather, the good friend that introduced us to eachother. I was a 70'a Go Go girl.
This is what Bryce looked like when I met him. For those of you who don't know him, he was dressed as one of his friends who thinks he's a ninja, named Yousif.

The first year of marriage has been good, hard, frustrating, aweful, funny, great, heartbreaking, hilarious, full of suprises and an adventure. One year down and hopefully 61 to go. I only want to live til I'm 85. To celebrate we went to a dinner theater and saw Hello Dolly. It was awesome. Pigging out on good food for 4 hours and an awsome show. What could be better. There was also a very beautiful bouquet of flower on my station at the salon when I got to work on Saturday morning from my thoughtful husband. It was a superb anniversary.

This is at our reception with all my Bridesmaids and all his Groomsmen. From left to right, Heather Bundy, Tiffany Lloyd, Hilary Worthen, Katie Christiansen, Cassie Wernli, me, Bryce, Yousif Ashoor, Todd Stoker and Cameron Olsen.

Us cutting our cake.

Us coming out of the temple together. I guess that's what I look like when I am really really happy! Our wedding day was awesome. I can honestly say that everything was perfect that day. Everything was perfect that night too. I'm sure bryce saw my happy face then too.

So Cute

This is my little neice, Lexi. Her middle name is the same as mine. Isn't she so cute?

I love this one with all the little feet. It's so dang cute.

This is my twin sister cassie and her husband and their daughter Lexi. Still so cut

Okay, so, I have this super talented sister in law named margaret. She designs really awesome cards. Like, Christmas cards, baby announcements and she even did my wedding announcement. They are all so cute. Here are some of her products. If you like them you can visit her new website, http://www.tinytaledesign.com/ to order whatever you want. I will see if I can find one of my wedding announcements and post it too.
