Phantom of the Opera or Les Miserables?

If you have never heard either title, then shame on you.

Phantom of the Opera or Les Miserables? Which one is better? Why is it better? If you've never seen either of them which one would you rather see and why?

I grew up with both of these plays in my life. Luckily, my mother and father loved them and hence, passed on the love.

The Phantom of the Opera or Les Miserables, question has floated around my family for years. I think we all love them both but we all deifinately like one better then the other. Personally I have always been drawn more to Phantom of the Opera, while my sister Sherry will forever sing the praises of Les Miserables.

I have seen both plays in theater and have seen both the movies as well. Les mis movie sucked, phantom movie rocked, although no one can sing Music of the Night like Michael Crichton.

I can't remember how old I was when I first saw these plays but I remember my mom thinking that it was not worth paying for me and my twin sister to see the play if we did not understand what was going on. So, on our annual trip to California she would play the soundtrack and explain what was going on to me and my twin sister and we would ask questions if we felt the urge to know more. This way we thoroughly understood the plot of both plays.
I loved it. I loved listening to them and listening to my mom explain all the complexity of the plots. It was awesome.

Cassie was afraid of Phantom after her first viewing and I fell asleep at the end of Les Mis during my first viewing. But I think we would both agree that we wouldn't give up that experience for anything.

They are completely different in almost every way but both absolutely wonderful. Luckily, I happend to marry a man who grew up with a mother who loved Musicals and therefore he shares my appreciation for them. Lucky me!

I love both of these plays. I plan on seeing them whenever they come to Gamage.

So, tell me which is your favorite. Leave a comment and explain why it is your favorite. Thank you.

It has been one of those days.... no scratch that, one of those WEEKS

Have you ever had an entire weeks that was just completely draining in absolutely every aspect of life? Work life, family, emotional, physical, mental, just everything? I am exhausted in every way. I think I could sleep for like 24 hours straight without any help.

Well I have definately had one of those weeks this week.
I can't wait to go see my sister and her new baby in the very near future.

These babies faces are funnier then mine, I promise.

Let's hope next week is better.

Let me Clarify

I am not ready for a baby, I am ready to start the process of looking into the fostering to adopt system. The process could take up to 2 years. I will not have a baby in a week, or even in a month, it will be a long time probably.

dream girl

I dreamed all night last night of a beautiful baby girl and she belonged to me. She looked like this little baby but she had lighter hair and blue eyes. I was a wonderful dream. I spent days with the beautiful little infant. She was the sweetest little thing. She was a baby that only cried when she needed somthing and she smelled so wonderful. I dreamt all night about her. It was a great night of dreaming.
