Meet Delaney Lindsay Wernli
Meet the latest addition to the family. Delaney Lindsay Wernli. My twin sister Cassie's and her husband, Brandon's second daughter. 6 pounds 15 ounces and 19.5 inches long.

The Perfect Bedding.
I have purchased 3 bedding sets in the last 2 years. Aweful, I know. First set was good but cheap and did not last and got yucky. Second set was a beutiful Blue and Brown set from Linens and things. It was a comforter set and not a quilt. Well, my cat tore that one to shreds. Yes, I would like to get her declawed. So we have been sleeping with odds and ends of blankets. Growing up my mom loved loved loved quilts. She tought this love to me. There is nothing like a beautiful quilt. So, I was searching and searching online for new bedding and I just didn't like anything I saw. So, I was at Walmart picking up something and I thought I'd take a peek at their quilts. Well, I am happy to say, I found the PERFECT one. I love love love it. It is so much more gorgeous in person.
I bought the quilt without the shams because the shams weren't at the location I was at. Well, I went to go get some groceries at a different location and they had the Shams. YAY!!! I love my new bedding, it is perfect and I think Bryce doesn't hate it so that's good too. This totally made my week.
Hair
I chopped all of mine off. Do I like it? Yes, I love it. Thank you Rachel!
What prompted me to chop all of my hair off?
I am losing it. Not just a little. By the hand full. This is from just 2 shampoos. You should she my brush.
Now, some of you might be thinking, "losing hair in the shower and in your brush is totally normal". If anyone knows this, it's me. But this is not normal. Not for me. I have really thin fine hair and about a year and a half ago I started taking Nioxin. I love it. It made me grow hair. So much so that on Thanksgiving this year one of my sisters thought I had put fake extension peices in my hair and she actually grabbed my hair, (in a nice way) and was like "that's your real hair"?! And I was like, " I told you I have more hair".

MRI
I, Caroline Christiansen, at the age of 24 just had my first MRI. By far my least pleasant medical imaging experience.
Do you see how tiny that little hole is? Seriously? I am very claustrophobic, not fun.
They were doing images of my Petuitary Gland. It's in your brain, for those of you who don't know. I have blacke out twice now and have Cushings syndrome, which causes tumors on your Petuitary Gland. So, my GP decided it was a good idea to take a peek at.
Have you ever had a cat scan? Those are simple. 10 minutes and your done. Unless you are me, then they make you drink a contrast and put an IV in and take an hour and 15 minutes. Anyways, because they were taking pictures of my brain they put this fun little mask on me. Which makes it even more closed in. They put a little mirror in there so you can see out of the machine. No good I tell ya. I use that mirror to watch the count down of the test on the clock on the machine.
I don't know how many images they took but it must have been a ton because they took me back to the MRI machine at 8:45 and I didn't come out until 9:45. An hour, I spent an hour of my day in that little tube. Now, normally I would take that as an opportunity to nap. Sounds great right? Totally impossible. Those of you who have had an MRI know what I'm talking about. They give you ear plugs but it's knocking and buzzing and humming in very loud tones. Then I got to get an injection and take more pictures. I actually hope that's a good sign that they found something because the order for the MRI left whether or not they would do a contrast image up to the radiologist. And she did. She did 3 actually. She said okay, "I'm going to give you and injection and take 3 more images. You're doing great, hold in there". Fun times I tell ya.

One of my favorite people!
Have you ever met anyone in your life that was easy? Someone who made life just a little easier to handle just by being there? Just easy? Easy to be around, easy to talk to, easy to listen to, easy to introduce to other peope, just plain easy. I haven't met very many in my life but I have met a few. This is the newest, wonderful, beautiful, spiritual, courageous, most amazing, easy friend I have.
Her name is Keeley Brown. I met her through my husbands brother. When I first met her she just seemed like a quiet girl to me. She stuck around though and I got to know her. She became easy.
I've decided it's because I knew her in the pre-existance. She is just one of those people that my spirit seems to recogonize. A person that my spirit seems to think I should be aquanted with for the rest of my life. I hope she agrees.
This is her on her 21st Birthday. We all went to Mimi's cafe to celebrate.
Keeley has decided to serve a mission. I know it's aweful of me to say but I really really don't want her to go. I will miss her a lot. She's easy, you know. Easy people are hard to find. Anyways, when Keeley sent in her mission paper she told her Heavenly Father that if she could go anywhere in the world, she'd like to go to Guatemala. This was just between her and her Heavenly Father. She made no request on her papers. Well, take a guess where she got called? Guatemala! That's right, dream come true. For her, not me. I am seriously going to miss this girl.
Meeting her you'd think she was a quiet shy little thing. She is and she's not. She's the perfect balance. If you need her to be quiet and listen, that's exactly what she does. Without being asked, she just knows how to comfort. A Peacemaker, if you will. If you need her to be silly and play games with you, she's perfect for that too. I have a feeling she could play Quelf with the top dogs. She's amazing at Party Playoff.

She wanted it long enough to still put into a pony and short enough to not be a pain in the rear in Guatemala. All I have to say is that she has perfect hair as well. Fine but super thick. An awesome %100 natural warm brown hair color. We cut off like 10-12 inches. She looks good with short and long hair.

Totally cute huh? Her hair naturally just fell that way too. Jealous much? I am.
She's also a regular Spiderman. She can scale any cliff the guys can scale. It's incredible.
She's the only girl that I know that can climb like this. She has so much courage in so many ways and areas of life. Not only can she do this but she also has 2 Associates degrees. One in General Business and one in General Education. Plus, she has 2 jobs. All at 21. Seriously? I wish I could do the things this girl does.
This is a slack line. I think Keeley is the only girl I've seen do this without assistance.
I swear this girl can do anything. The guy that is lucky enough to take her to the Temple is one seriously lucky guy and I hope he knows the kingdom that is awaiting this girl in Heaven and that he is prepared to help her get there. He must also know that she has to stay my friend so they have to live close.
In the words of my brother in law, "keeley never gets boring." She's always pleasant to be with. Also, she can do anything my 6 foot 5 brother in law can do, I think.
Why is she the only girl posing on these rocks with these guys?
Because she is the only one brave enough to do all the crazy things they think of for an adrenaline rush.
Keeley, I hope you stay my easy friend for as long as I am on this earth. I am seriously going to miss you but Guatemala is gaining one seriously awesome girl. You will be an amazing missionary. Remember that you are a daughter of God and that is all you need to know to accomplish anything you want to. Luv ya!

Me on the Radio
Let me explain. I have an hour drive to work every morning and the best program on at that time is John Jay and Rich. They do different segments, Second date update, war of the roses and so on. One segment they do is 'it sucks to be me'. Most of the time they are giving away tickets of some kind for the best sob story of why it sucks to be you. I figured that being awake during a colonoscopy and Endoscopy would totally score me some tickets so when I heard the 'it sucks to be me' theme song this morning I quickly dialed and actually got through. I'm on there for quite a while actually. Unfortunately, they were not giving any tickets away. So, I figure the next time they do the 'it sucks to be me' segment I'll tell them about my car accident less then one week post op, with my seatbelt not catching and resulting in reconstructive surgery.
