Healthy

Because of my disorders I am a very ingredient and nutrition fact, concious person. I always look at the ingredients and the nutrition facts. How many of you know that Margarine, though containing less fat and calories is way worse for you then butter?

No, well you should. Margarine is packed full of unatural things that your body can not process whereas butter is 100% natural and therefore your body processes's it. I will delve more into that on a future post.

Anyways, lately many people have asked me " how do you know the yummy healthy things from the yucky healthy things?" I'll tell you, it's because I look at and try them all. So, as a result, I've decided to share my findings.

First off is the Alternative bagel by South Western Bagel company. This entire bagel is only 110 Calories, .5 G of Fat. 8 G of dietary fiber. That's right, I said 8 grams. And 7 grams of protein. If you are a bread person, these are awesome. You can find them at Walmart or Sprouts. My personal favorites are Sweet wheat and Bluberry. They are just a little smaller then a regular bagel and are delicious. They are only 1 point on Weight watchers. These are awesome sandwich style or bagel style.

Sandwich style I use one triangle of Laughing on each side of the bagel and then use a deli style low fat meat and lettuce and tomato and it's a total of about 3 or 4 points. Why? Because light laughing cow cheese is only 35 calories per triangle and has no unatural preservatives.

My personal favorite is Garlic and Herb.

Cream Cheese style I use 1 0r 2 Table spoons of Light Philidalphia or Organic Cream Cheese. 1 TableSpoons makes 3 points and 2 Tablespoons make 4 points. Awesom huh.

If you like the idea of me sharing my food tips, please leave a comment and let me know.

All things in Moderation, of course. I keep bite sized things and little donuts because then I can eat just one small one.

I love laughing cow cheese! My mom used to give it to us to eat with crackers or something for snacks when we were young. I love reading your blogs- and I actually DID know that about margarine. I don't know the specifics though, I'd love to hear about them sometime. :)

Actually this is random but your husband Bryce used to be one of the supervisors when I worked at Sunsplash one summer. He is a nice guy, he probably wont remember me but if he does tell him hello.
